BMW of North America has agreed to pay a $3 million fine to settle U.S. government allegations that it failed to promptly notify regulators about potential safety defects.
NTHSA says that BMW agreed to the civil penalty caused by 16 recall investigations in 2010.

The BMW Z4 GT3 is powered by a four-litre, eight-cylinder engine producing approximately 480 bhp. A six-speed sequential gearbox sends all of that power to the rear wheels. ABS and central-locking wheels are standard, and for consumers who want an extra touch of civilization, air conditioning is optional.
