Called the Flexbook, this computer by “Taiwan-based designer hao-chun huang, offers portable, multi-use computing within a single device. the concept was shortlisted from over 1000 designs in our recent designboom competition ‘a life with future computing’.” No word yet on pricing or availability.

with a waterproof keypad and 21:9 screen, ‘flexbook’ is designed for portability and range of use among the constantly connected. featuring a flexible structure with a center joint, the laptop can be folded into a range of configurations, while a 180-degree swivel touch screen offers different configurations of viewing, including a laptop and tablet mode.

Most companies are currently going with the Intel Atom N270/N280 CPU combined with the 945GSE chipset. The result is that performance is nearly identical between similarly equipped netbooks, although as we saw with the ASUS 1005HA and the GIGABYTE M1022, there are still differences when it comes to battery life and features. Acer looks to separate their latest Aspire One 751h from the crowd by bumping the screen size up to 11.6", which also has the very noticeable benefit of providing you with a 1366×768 native resolution.

Powered by a 2.93GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Studio 19 features a 19-inch touchscreen LCD display, a 4GB of main memory, a 750GB of hard drive, a Blu-Ray drive, and an nVidia GeForce 9400 graphics engine. Sounds like a great deal for $999 (you can get lower specs for $700 thought), and since I already put an all-in-one PC to my shopping list this year, I definitely consider this one from Dell!
